The new Nokia N93 is a smartphone, which is specifically designed to fulfill multimedia needs of the users. The handset with exceptional features was introduced in April 2006 and released in July 2006.

N93 , which comes packed with special photographic capabilities, has a twist-and-flip design that can be moved in all four positions: closed when not in use, folded open when talking; a viewing mode and a camera mode.

The phone has a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera; Carl Zeiss optics and 3x optical zoom and can capture 30 frames per second. Some of the fantastic features of N97 are as follows:

The N93 is an amazing device for natural video capturing. It offers uncompromised digital camcorder, telephony and rich Internet communication functions, but the only disadvantage of the handset is that is quite huge in size and battery backup is low. It is quite expensive to be a mainstream handset.

In the Indian electronic market, N93 is available at the price of Rs 32, 00 and it costs USD 720 approx in the international market.

The new Nokia N73 is a superb handset manufactured by Nokia. It is also called a “multimedia computer” with powerful photography features and integrated stereo speakers powered with 3D sound facility.

Nokia N73 comes loaded with software features like two-way video call capability, a 3.2MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, video galleries, a music player, visual FM Radio, RealPlayer, an IM client, a full browser based on KHTML/WebKit, a WAP browser, a PDF viewer, an Adobe Flash Lite viewer and a number of games.

Nokia N73 was introduced in April, 2006 and was officially released into the market for sale on August 2006. Some of the key features of Nokia N73 are as follows:-

• Powered with 3G and 2G network as UMTS 2100 and GSM 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 respectively

Nokia N73 is available in the market in different colors like Silver and Plum, White and Pink, White and Red, White and Brown, Silver, Blue, White and Sand, Black (Music edition, available later as a standard color) and White (Special Edition)

However, there are few disadvantages of Nokia N73:

• Keys may be too small for larger fingers
• Camera lens cover Creaks
• Absence of Wi-Fi
• Slippery joy-stick
• Internet browser does not support landscape mode
